Third grade students, in Mrs. Pesany-Au’s Art class, have created some Olympic ski Jumpers, just in time for the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics! Students worked as “fashion designers” creating the uniform and skis for their Olympic athlete.

Don't forget our open house is tomorrow, Wednesday February 11th!
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our teachers, learn about our programs, and ask any questions you may have. Please RSVP at the link below to reserve your spot.

SME will be donating the funds we collect to the American Heart Association. You can learn more about the AHA here: https://www.heart.org/en/

In our EXCEL Learning Clubs, students have the opportunity to learn alongside students from other grades with teachers from throughout the building. As they learn that learning is more than studying a textbook or memorizing flashcards, students grow relationships with peers from multiple grade levels and with new teachers. In these ways, EXCEL helps grow the community of our school as much as it evolves our curricula and academic offerings.

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!
We still plan to host our Catholic Schools Week Kickoff Mass. Students who are attending are asked to wear their SME school uniform, so that parishioners may identify them as SME students. If your son or daughter will be volunteering in mass, it would be great if they could be to the church around 9:45.
**Please make the decision that is best for your family.** We do not know the weather conditions near your home. If driving to and from St. Mary's is anything but safe, please stay home. Do not put yourself in harm's way to participate in this mass.
Stay safe, stay warm, and we hope to see many at mass at 10:00.
Mr. Olejniczak
