Catholic Elementary School Tuition Aid Program (CTAP) Notice of Deadline Extension

The Diocese has notified St. Mary's Elementary School that additional funding for the 2008-2009 school year is available to any family that meets CTAP eligibility requirements.  Up to a maximum of $500 per child could be awarded on a first come basis.
            As of June 9^th, all eligible applications were funded.  If you have not applied and wish to, please request an application by contacting Cathy Kuczmarski at 683-2112, ext. 123 or at kuczmarskic@smeschool.com.  The application contains an Eligibility Scale to determine whether your family qualifies before completing the application.

Dear Parents, Students and Friends,

It's hard to believe that we are at the end of another school year. We will miss our eighth graders but we know that it is time for them to spread their wings and fly on to high school. For a number of families this is their last child at SME and we want you to know that you will always be welcome to come back to visit and participate in the many activities that you helped to establish. Although this is only my second year here, I can see how deep and lasting are the ties that bind one to another at SME. It truly is a community and the care and concern for one another continues long after graduation.

May you all have a wonderful summer, learn something new, read a good book, and enjoy God's creation.
